Building Hydrogen-Ready Solar Plants in Southern Italy with Cutting-Edge Technology for HIGH YIELD!

The solar facility in Guardia Lombardi, Irpina, produces clean and low-risk electrical energy using high-efficiency bifacial industrial solar panels. These panels, boasting efficiencies over 23%, are installed on agriculturally used lands, maximizing dual land use.

Mounted at an optimal angle of 20° to the sun, the solar panels enable the direct conversion of solar energy into electrical power. The careful installation of the substructures preserves the natural ground and minimizes soil sealing. The area beneath the panels remains agriculturally viable, ensuring efficient dual use of the land.

Located in Irpina, Italy, a region that enjoys over 1,450 sunshine hours annually, our sites harness optimal solar energy, enhancing the overall productivity and sustainability of our installations. Our state-of-the-art inverters, with a maximum efficiency of 99%, safely transform the direct current into grid-compliant alternating current. Energy transfer occurs via a 2.7 km long buried high-voltage line that directly connects to the existing 110-kV station.
